Hello,
I'm using the Hipchat desktop client on Windows 10 Version 1703. Ever since the latest Windows 10 update, the resolution on Hipchat has been wonky. It's almost unusable. Here are the two main issues:
1. In order to click on anything, I have to hover the cursor about 100 pixels beneath where I want it to click. For example, If I have a chat open with user John Doe and I want to open that chat, I go over to the left side of the client window, and I have to move the cursor somewhere below "John Doe" or it won't open the chat.
2. The Windows toolbar at the top of the app (the one that has minimize, maximize, and quit buttons) is so large that it actually obscures some of the app's functionality. I can't sign out, change my status to "away" or "unavailable", or even access the "Settings" or "Video call" buttons.
For now, I'll just use the browser client. However, I strongly prefer to use the desktop client, so here's my question:
Has this issue been reported through the official Atlassian ticket system and, if so, where can I follow the issue so that I know when I can use the desktop client again? If it hasn't been reported, how can I submit a bug report for it?
Hi Jay,
This issue is related to graphic card driver being outdated or corrupted. So please apply the parameter to disable the client usage of GPU and let me know how it goes:
Hope this helps.

Hi Jay
https://jira.atlassian.com is where you can search to see if this issue is already reported.
In particular the HIpChat project: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/HCPUB
It sounds very much like https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/HCPUB-3199 is the same issue as you are seeing. That's probably the one to watch/comment/vote on.
https://support.atlassian.com/contact is where you can submit bug reports to Atlassian.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/HCPUB-3177 is worth reading and watching too.
HCPUB-3177 and HCPUB-3199 both have some comments about possible workarounds/fixes that you could try if you haven't already.
