Is there no option to deploy traditionally? We have strict OS requirements and cannot deploy an OVA in our environment without violating some of our policies...

Hi Michael & William,

At present we're all limited to the OVA (with three virtual disks) and the AWS reference AMI images.

HipChat Server is built up from a number of server-side applications and, at present, they're integrated at the OS level. iptables etc.

I'd like to know this also. I found the OVA to be kind of strange and would rather run our standard OS.
