Is there a process to change the default session timeout for Hipchat?

Is there a similar way to do this, or an easier way, for Hipchat?

Hi there, Daniel.

By default, we do not have a method to configure the timeout session for HipChat in general. As you can see here, we have a suggestion raised for it though there has not been any follow up from the dev team if this will be implemented in the future, especially after the announcement of the Slack partnership:

• HCPUB-3090: Ability to configure the cookie timeout/lifetime for HipChat

Can you share a little bit more on the use case of configuring this on your side besides the application security and development checklist? Thanks.
