Hipchat data center number of redis servers

The documentation for Hipchat data center calls for the creation of an external Redis server. 

For the Redis server itself it calls for it to have HA enabled. Does that mean I should follow the Redis Sentinel doc here https://redis.io/topics/sentinel and setup a three node redis cluster?

If you are configuring HipChat Data Center to be highly available, then Redis should also be configured to be highly available and you should follow the Sentinel documentation.

Please notice, however, that you have the option of deploying a smaller Data Center. For details, please refer to the following article:
