when I tried to create a Hip Chat account, I was automatically logged in with my Atlassian Account. Anyway, now that I try to log in on the desktop-Client, my Atlassian Password does not work. But when I try to reset the password via "forgot password" option, I do not get a mail for my info@ address. But I originally tried to create the account with my ssc@... address. Something was messed up and I can not understand what to do. I want to have an account with the ssc@... address.
Hi Sarah - it sounds like you might want to sign up for a new account under the updated email address. If you're trying to update the email on an existing account, you'll need access to that email in order to receive the forgot password email.
I would recommend contacting the HipChat support team directly by going to https://support.atlassian.com/hipchat/ - they will be able to help figure out your specific situation and get you back on track.
