Linking Crucible projects to JIRA

Bill Mariasoosai January 30, 2014

All:

Fisheye /Crucible ( 3.1.4)

JIRA ( 6.1.2)

I have the following 3 fisheye/crucible projects :

Build: https://atlass.dbm.com/svn/cmteam/build

UI: https://atlass.dbm.com/svn/cmteam/UI

Tools : https://atlass.dbm.com/svn/cmteam/tools

The repository is "cmteam" and the projects are build, UI, tools

I would like to link them with JIRA. I have not created any JIRA project yet.

Should I create 3 projects in JIRA and map them to these crucilbe projects

so that the three teams can work on build, UI, tools respectively.

We have 50 repos like this. This will force us to create a lot

of JIRA projects.

Is it possible to create one JIRA project "cmteam"

so that all the three teams can work on their respective

crucible projects(Build,UI,Tools)

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Bzoo

Hi Bzoo,

Yes, you can have several FishEye/Crucible projects linked to the same JIRA project.

You will be able to create reviews in separate Crucible projects, but issue keys in commit messages and review descriptions and comments will be hyperlinked to your single JIRA project.
