This question was asked in 2007 and answered in the negative in 2010 by Mark Mickaelis - see http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Perforce?focusedCommentId=218277724#comment-218277724

Any new information on this? Again, it would be nice if the product screen or documentation would say something about this at least. It is a natural request from Perforce admins.

No change here, the Perforce wildcards are not supported.
I've added a note to the documentation page.
