Does chaining the value of "block size" in repository setting cause re-indexing?

Daisuke Niwa April 12, 2012

Hello there,

I learned in FishEye, with Administration > Repositories > SCM Details > Block Size you can change the value of revisions scanned at one time.

My question is, does changing value here cause re-indexing of the repository in question from the first changeset ?

Please let me know if you have an idea.

Regards,

Daisuke Niwa

I've just tested this in 2.5.4.
After changing the Block Size setting, FishEye only informs you that a Restart of the repository is needed.
It doesn't want to do a full re-index.

It looks as if in old versions of FishEye actually re-indexing repository occurs when block size value is changed.

We are using FishEye 2.5.4. Please let us know if the above is the case for our version of FishEye
