Balbir Balli March 20, 2016

Hi All,

Can someone suggest if i can remove "cache" folder from Crucible home path which in my case is D:\Crucible\CrucibleData3.8.1\var\cache. This folder is consuming approx 50 GB of space. Not sure the impact of deleting this folder. Please help me understanding the impact.

Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Balbir

Hi Balbir,

As mentioned on the FishEye folder layout page, the $FISHEYE_INST\var\cache folder contains the caches and the indexes used by FishEye and Crucible.

This folder cannot be deleted without loosing data.

Also, it's consistency with the status of the database is crucial for the correct behaviour of the application so it's important that it is not manually changed unless we recommend you to do so.

It's size depends on the size of the repositories and the number and content of the reviews.

Cheers,

Caterina - Atlassian Support
