The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
Somehow, since today, the Atlassian community website does not load well anymore. Some elements of the site just show spinners, and loading of a couple of parts of the javascript is missing. That makes writing answers impossible. But this only happens on some pages.
Might this be the tracking protection in the new Firefox?
Or the use of optimizely for A/B testing?
Hi @marc -Collabello--Phase Locked- ,
Yes, I can confirm that we are experiencing recently some issues with performance on Community. Sometimes is global sometimes more local.. Overall if you take notice how many users are actually using community site these days then it is a big number. We are reaching an enterprise level here.
Community support team is doing a great job of identify issues and working with the vendor to resolve them. If you are experiencing any unusual loads when using the site, please save the current state by generating a browser HAR file (https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/generating-har-files-and-analyzing-web-requests-720420612.html) that might help with investigating and finding the root cause.
Definitely generate HAR files when this happens. Like Mirek mentioned, we're dependent on a third-party vendor for the platform. We need to provide them as much evidence as possible when these types of issues occur (and they definitely do occur!) to help them diagnose what's happening on their end. Ping us on Community Slack with any HAR files or email me at deads at atlassian.com with the HAR attached. Thanks!
