Instance optimization for Jira Data Center, now available in Portfolio Insights early access program

Hello Atlassian Community,

I'm Mateusz Miodek, Product Manager on the Atlassian Data Center team. Following our Portfolio Insights Early Access Program (EAP) announcement last November, we're pleased to share that instance optimization for Jira Data Center is now live for all enrolled EAP participants.

By joining our EAP, you can now monitor and optimize the performance of your Jira Data Center instances directly through Portfolio insights. This feature provides:

• Optimization score: A comprehensive metric reflecting your instance's overall health and performance, considering factors such as system load and resource utilization.

• 7-day trend: Visualize your instance's performance over time to identify patterns, improvements, and potential issues before they impact users.

• Guardrails: Compare your instance size and data shapes against Atlassian's recommended limits for optimal performance, including metrics like user count, custom fields, and node sizing.

• Performance indicators: Monitor key metrics across nodes, including CPU usage, memory utilization, database connection pool status, garbage collection overhead, disk latency, and inter-node communication efficiency.

• Recommendations: Based on the collected data, receive actionable insights and recommendations for each metric to improve your instance's performance.

These insights and recommendations enable you to proactively manage your Data Center environment, ensuring smooth operations and identifying specific areas for optimization.

Just asking, why was this integrated into the Cloud Admin Interface instead of directly into Jira / Confluence?

The data is based on all the analytics that CCMA / JCMA are permanently sending to Cloud?
