Can we agree that editing the last message with "s/old/new" is terrible?
What's wrong with hit up-arrow and edit the line like in the case of ALL the normal applications out there? I mean it's cute that someone thought making a sed / ed-like command for editing as a geeky touch, but it's inconvenient to say the least, especially for single letter typos. Not to mention that non-technical people (for example project managers) that haven't heard of sed have hard time using this.
Anyone in on this?
