Moving Field Issue Type to the Right Sidebar

Hello -
Using Elements Connect we're dynamically embedding a PDF into a JIRA task as HTML to serve as a work instruction that is to go with that given task. It works great. But I'm trying to pull up the PDF as high as possible on the webpage to increase the user experience. I've been able to get all fields hidden or shifted over except the Type field under the Details section.
Is there a way to move this Type Field either to a tab, or the right sidebar? Happy to use a Plugin or do some custom CSS to achieve it since it doesn't appear to be a default functionality in Datacenter.
