Given a medium to big organisation with around 5000 Employees and several houndred projects. Every project has the responsibility to only show the right persons the content of their issues. So only users added to a project role for a specific project can see and browse it.
A common request towards the global Jira Team in such situations is: "Please give me access to the Project for Team/Product ABC".
In such situation the global Jira Team has to identify which Project is the right one for the person and to decide whether the person should get access - and if yes with which project role. Or most commonly find somebody else to answer these questions.
These requests could be avoided, if the user would be able to see all the required information themself. Like a list of all available projects on a Jira-instanc, including the project name, project key, project description and name of ProjectLead and Project-Administrators.
Does anybody have an idea how to create such an overview, in a way that it always up to date? Best of all would be to include such information directly in Jira, in a place that is reachable for every user, like the System Dashboard.
