Hi,
We just upgraded Crowd from v2.7 to v2.8 today and everyhing seems to go well. However, when logging into Crowd UI, I can only administrate my own profile and see Application, but the Admin Console to administrate the Crowd server is gone (no tabs/menu items displayed) although none has changed group permissions in the mean while. Other Crowd admins experience the same.
Atlassian application such as Jira, Confluence and Stash are though able to successfully integrate with Crowd.
Is this known issue with the latest Crowd version?
Hi Shalini Basavapatnakeshava,
It looks like your admins have been demoted to regular users. I recommend that you raise a support ticket with Atlassian (https://support.atlassian.com/) to receive assistance. The next release of Crowd (2.8.2) will include a feature to easily restore lost admin permissions (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CWD-3872), but unfortunately it's not available yet. In the meanwhile, our friendly support staff will guide you through the process to restore the permissions.
