Does crowd support SiteMinder ?

Hi All

Has anyone tried connecting Crowd to SiteMinder ?

The integration I expact is like:

JIRA <->Crowd<->SiteMinder<->LDAP ?

Have seen few docs saying JIRA/Confluence can be integrated to SiteMinder. But, would Crowd support this ?
