Hi,

This keeps happening during setup after pressing continue on DB connection step. Here is the exception:

Type Exception Report

Description The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Exception

Error creating bean with name 'tokenDAOMemory' defined in class path resource [applicationContext-CrowdDAO.xml]: Cannot resolve reference to bean 'cacheFactory' while setting constructor argument; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'cacheFactory' defined in class path resource [applicationContext-CrowdManagers.xml]: Cannot resolve reference to bean 'ehcacheManager' while setting constructor argument; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'ehcacheManager' defined in class path resource [applicationContext-CrowdConsoleClient.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is net.sf.ehcache.CacheException: Another unnamed CacheManager already exists in the same VM. Please provide unique names for each CacheManager in the config or do one of following:
1. Use one of the CacheManager.create() static factory methods to reuse same CacheManager with same name or create one if necessary
2. Shutdown the earlier cacheManager before creating new one with same name.
The source of the existing CacheManager is: InputStreamConfigurationSource [stream=java.io.ByteArrayInputStream@3a5c305] - action - file:/opt/atlassian/crowd/apache-tomcat/webapps/../../crowd-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/struts.xml:136:96

Hi @[deleted],

What is the version of Crowd you are trying to set up?

You can verify whether you have the correct permissions for the Crowd Installation and Home Directories and for the Database.

Also, check whether the port number is not being used by some other applications.

Also, verify that there is sufficient memory on the server to run the Crowd.

Thanks,
Amith Mathur
