Crowd Administrative Functions are failing

Fernanda Souza November 2, 2014

When I try to use some of the administrative functions of crowd, I'm getting this exception:

Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '='

In my company it's complicated to send logs so, apologies for this small stack trace sad.

Any information that can help will be more than welcome.

Regards,

Mitch

No problem Mitch, luckly I think I know what is the problem, I believe your crowd mysql database is using the wrong colation, please try running the steps in this guide to fix this.

Make sure to make a database backup before trying those steps.

tks,

David

Again, sorry for the small stack trace, I will try that after doing a vm snapshot of our crowd environment, thanks again for the direction Deividi.
