After evaluating crowd and other Atlassian stuff in a testing environment, I've decided to buy the starter licence to start trough with all. But I'm running into some trouble with installing to the production.
After installing crowd (Oracle JDK 7u10, Debian Squeeze, MySQL 5.1) and running trough the setup wizard I can't login into crowd with the admin user, provided in the setup wizard. Everytime I provide the correct credentials the loginform is reloaded and no info is shown. If i provide incorrect credentials I've got a "Invalid login." message. So, what I'm doing wrong?
As additional info, i call the setup wizard from remote pc, with FQDN like http://mydomain.com:8095/crowd and this also set as base URL in the setup wizard.
Hi Patrik,
I've occassionally seen issues similar to this caused by browser caches, so I'd advise you either try clearing the browser caches or try logging in with a different browser. If this doesn't resolve the issue then try resetting the admin password through the database by following the instructions in this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWDKB/Restoring+Passwords+To+Recover+Admin+User+Rights
If neither of these solutions works for you then please open a ticket with Support in the Crowd project and one of our engineers will assist you investigating the cause of the issue.
All the best,
John
