why is there surrounding border around the excerpt macro?

I'm using the excerpt macro to add content to one page from another page.

For some reason, when I remove the border in the parameter options, it makes it seem like there is an extra space.

Appreciate anyone's input on this please.

Hi Adi,

I tried this on our Confluence instance (6.15.4), and I can't find a border or spacing around the excerpt include.

We have no custom CSS for this.
Could this be a problem with your custom CSS?

Hi Kirstiin,

Actually, I tried this again and it worked. I'm not sure what happened the first time, maybe it was a header issue.

The good thing is that it now works :)
