visibility of versioning

Monika Drößler July 9, 2012

Hi.

I'm searching for another possibility to restrict the visibility of versioning.
That means I may not see who changed what and when at a page.

I've found the possibility to hide this area with CSS.
But are there other, safe ways to do this? Not only to hide versioning, but also prevent it?

That's a good question. Unfortunately I can't answer directly.
For a Customer Confluence is used as a community.
According to the specifications of the customer, versioning should not be available.
Unfortunately I currently don't know the exact reasons.

why do you want to disable versioning ? I think this is a great feature of almost every wiki. Maybe, if you tell us a little bit, why you want to disable versioning, we find another solution for your problem.
