Log in as an admin, then use "space import" to import the xml as new spaces.

You'll need to upgrade the source Confluence to 6.6, then export again.

how do I upgrade the source? isn't it automatic upgrade as it is a cloud confluence as well.

I am sorry, I only read the comment.

You should only get that error message if you have exported from Confluence 6.5 or below and tried to import into Cloud.

Cloud to Cloud should work fine.

You'll need to ask Atlassian support ( https://support.atlassian.com/contact ) to read the logs to see what is going wrong.
