I want a create a new macro for adding date, I tried following the instructions here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/writing-user-macros-4485.html but when I go into "General Configuration" there is no "User Macros" option available. I am the admin.
Any assistance will be appreciated
Hi @guybaz and welcome to the community,
The documentation you are referring to is for Confluence server/DC. It doesn't apply to confluence cloud. In order to create a macro of your own, you have to create an app using Forge or Connect. You can find more info here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-articles/How-to-create-simple-custom-macros-in-Confluence-Cloud/ba-p/1227422
Thanks, I wasn't aware that there are such significant differences
