"Recent changes" macro not reflecting attachments

We have empty pages with Word document attached anduse the Office Connector macros to display the attachment as content.

We noticed that the "recent changes" macro does not reflect the change of an attachment. Is there any possibility to synchronize timestamps of modified attachments with the page change timestamp?

We could write a database trigger but that would not be our preferred solution.

I'd go with the attachments macro.  It seems to be more accurate for this type of update.
