how to edit file in windows 10

I am trying to edit the file in confluence after clicking on Edit File option, I go to Edit With option and it shows me an option "Download for Mac". How to resolve this issue as I am working in windows 10.

Are you working with Confluence Cloud or Confluence 6.11 (Server) or later? If yes you need The Atlassian Companion app on Windows or Mac.

Usually Confluence detects on what OS you are and the download starts automatically, if not, as in your case you can download it manually here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/edit-files-170494553.html#EditFiles-InstallandconnecttheAtlassianCompanionappAtlassianCompanionapp

it a weblink so its a cloud. and i think it not detecting in windows as it show Download for Mac
