error when trying to edit confluence pages

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
when trying to edit some confluence pages i just get a loading spinner and the document does not load to edit.
- I have previously edited these pages
- they all seem to be 'legacy editor'
- there is a console error: TypeError: i.pluck is not a function
