delete an user

Hi Team,

Also note that users who created content in Confluence cannot be deleted. Just disabled.

When a user haven't created any content, then it can be deleted from the instance entirely.

So what happens if one deletes a user who created content? This is not recommened but is there a warning and you can do it or is it simply not possible?

Hi Anne, If the user created content, it's not possible to delete the user through the user interface of the application. Only the disable option appears. However, it's still possible to remove the user from the database, which is definitely not recommended since it would leave orphaned rows in the database and cause issues in the future.

HI Rodrigo, sorry, I missed that this is about confluence cloud.

Hey there,

You can disable(deactivate) the user directly in the User Management page
