copy and paste between confluence pages looses format

I have multiple pages that I keep weekly notes on. When I copy formatted text with bullet points on from one area to another the format is commonly lost or doubled. Which leaves me with double bullet points on each line item and I have to take time to clean it up. 

Example:

•  Test

will then turn into (stars representing bullets)

      *   *  Test

There can be caused by the skype add on as stated in this KB.
