Hi Jonathan,

Does the link here help: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-anchor-macro/

It mentions that, in the new editor, the anchor macro has been replaced by linkable headings.

To create a link to a specific section on a page:

  • Hover over a section title when viewing a page.
  • Click the link icon that appears to the left of the section title to copy it.
  • Insert the link in another page to create a link that goes to that part of the page.

Well, after doing that the link does go to the url I pasted, but does not immediately scroll that page so that the section is visible. However, it did scroll after a two second pause. Frustrating but what the hey I can live with it. That said, though, could you eliminate the pause?

I’m just a community member / user like you. I don’t work for Atlassian so I can’t help with the pause part.

https://support.atlassian.com/contact is the place to go if you want to raise a support request with Atlassian on this.
