Our WiKi (Confluence) database which is running on SQL Server grown to around 600 GB, now there is one table attachmentdata that itself of size 520 GB, are there any guidelines to partitioning this table?
Confluence doesn't care how you partition the table at the back end, as long as it looks like a single table to Confluence.
I'm not sure I would worry about it too much though - database storage of attachments has been deprecated and removed from later versions of Confluence. Although an upgrade will allow you to continue with internal storage for now, later versions won't support it at all, so you might want to consider moving to file based storage instead of database.
