Why is the status bar of a page missing on the homepage of a space?

Uta Samaga March 27, 2024

We would need to see the top bar of each page (last edited on xyz by abc...) aswell on the central homepage of each space in our Confluence. What can we do to achieve this?

Hi @Uta Samaga,

The macro Recent updates may help here, but you'll need to add it manually to each space home page. Here's the article about this macro: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-recent-updates-macro/

Hi @Kseniia Trushnikova , thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that's not really what we need.

We want to see same top bar on central hompages as on any other page. Above all, we want to see the date of the last edit and the visitors for this page, not the changes on other pages in the area. And we use the better content archiving app which also uses the status bar to display its status.

@Uta Samaga,

Ah, sorry. Indeed, a space overview page doesn't display modification info anymore... 🧐

I've found these two tickets about it that you may want to vote for:

For now, as a workaround for page history, it seems to me that only the Change History macro can work.
