We are a small team of 3 people working on a small project. As far as I can see we wont be billed anything for our Confluence account. Then why do I need to state a credit card number?
Hi
@Mats Elfving welcome! Have they given you a trial for some premium features and asking you to purchase a higher level- and if you do not they will revert to a free plan? I had this from them on a test instance I had set up, it also confused me!
Thanks
Abi
Hello
Thank you for your responses. Upon revisiting the page, it became clear to me that the request for a payment method might pertain to the plugin rather than to Confluence itself. The presence of the banner on every plugin page led me to initially believe it was related to Confluence.
However, I would like to reframe my question to inquire about the necessity for payment details for the plugins, especially since it is stated that the plugins are free for teams of fewer than 10 individuals.

Welcome to the community @Mats Elfving
Can you post a screenshot where you are asked for credit card? Of course, blur out all of the confidential information. Free version shouldn't ask you about this.
