Hi there,
I have recently imported my entire space from 1 Confluence instance to another and afterwards, nor I or the site admins are able to edit the space. There is also no obvious permission page to review permissions.
Can someone please advise how we can triage this issue.
It seems to ask me to request access, then sends it to Microsoft Teams which is just so strange.
Has anyone ever experienced this?
Hello @Alexandre Vaz
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Do you access the source and destination Confluence instances with the same account?
Did you have access/permissions for the space based on membership in a User Group that was granted access/permissions to that space? If so, did a User Group with the same name already exist in the destination Confluence instance? Space Import does not import user groups, nor grant product access to the Confluence product for users that had access to the space in the original instance.
Does the information in the blue Info box at the bottom of this documentation provide insights relevant to your scenario?

A Confluence Administrator in the destination Confluence instance can go to the Confluence Administration page, go to the Security section and find the Space Permissions, and Recover Permissions for the newly imported space. That will give that one Confluence Admin the Administer Space and View All permissions for the imported space. They should then be able to fix any space allocation permissions.
Can you share a screenshot of what the newly imported space looks like? Are you sure it was imported as a space and not a page inside a space?
