Why am I getting E-mail notifications after deactivating them?

Hi all.
I'm getting deluged with E-mails about every edit made anywhere in Confluence, even though I've unsubscribed from everything except changes to content I created or commented on, and new followers.
Anybody have insight on why this might be happening?
