Once the labels are manually created for a page using using the 'Add labels' box in the bottom right of the page, then help pages like these [1] [2] explain how to use macros to organize, etc.
But how is it possible to create the labels in the first place via a macro without having to tangle manually with the GUI?

Hi Simon and welcome,
As far as I know, labels need to be created using the explained menu using the three dot icon (aka more actions) and then 'Add labels' I think there isnt any other way to add labels to pages to be honest.
Regards
Thanks so much for replying! Hmmm... sounds like this might be a useful addition to the wiki markup syntax then. What's the best way to request such an addition? Are do they have a good track record of implementing missing features like this?
