What happens to pages with an author that has been removed from a site?

I'm looking to "Remove User" on deactivated users

 

If the user has created pages in Confluence Cloud, does removing them affect those pages?

- Do the pages they create show anonymous as the author?

- What happens to comments made by this person on other pages?

- What happens to pages which @mention them?

Hi @Katlyn Lawton 

Yes, the better option is to disable the users.
If you remove/delete then it will show anonymous in place of the author.
Once the user is removed, none of the pages and comments will show the user name
