What does Sharing a page do after Email is sent?

Hello, I just want to clarify what happens after I use the "Share" button to share a page to other users. If I do this are the users I sent the Share message to now watchers on the page? Will they get notifications to page updates going forward?

Hi there,

By default, they will not be set as watchers. To do so, they need to click on "Watch this Page", or you can add the users as watchers of the page.

Will a user Mention add the user as a watcher to a page where they are mentioned?
