What determines which pages are shown in the Popular Pages Tab on the Dashboard?
It seems when users create new pages, they pages appear on the top of the popular list, which confuses the users, because the content was not viewed by anyone else yet.
Thanks for your help.
You can disable the 'Popular' tab as shown here:
This appears to be a bug which I have raised at:https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26764

This turns out to be not a bug. The developer clarifies further on this at: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26764?focusedCommentId=345987&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-345987

Hi,
By default the popular should be controlled by the number of likes and the comment of the post and it will be shown in popular tab. I think there's not enough popular post at the moment which makes Confluence to push the newly created entry to that tab.
Hope this helps. Cheers.
