Using onDemand Confluence and Eventually Migrating over to Download

Veronica Stewart April 18, 2012

Our implementation process takes a while to complete. We will be installing the download instances for Jira, Bonfire and Confluence. In the meantime, we are using the onDemand versions of Jira,Confluence,Bonfire and Gliffy.

Questions:

1) Is Gliffy available as a download? How does it work with the download versions?

2) Can we migrate our content that we are creating with the onDeman version of Confluence over to our download once the installation is complete?

Hi,

#1 - Yes, Gliffy works in the download version as well. You install the gliffy plugin and then contact them for a license. See http://www.gliffy.com/products/confluence-plugin/

#2 - You will be able to export each one of your spaces from OnDemand, and then import them in to your standalone Confluence.

Cheers,

Gary
