User session timeout is too quick

Hi,

Users (including the admin) of this confluence installation keep having to log back in, perhaps after ~10-15min of inactivity. In the web.xml file, the session timeout is 60min. Can you help me find out the reason for the discrepancy? Note that this is not a new problem, but this has always been the case. Thanks!

Try changing the c3p0.timeout property in <YOUR CONFLUENCE HOME DIRECTORY>/confluence.cfg.xml file:

Hi Francois,

May I know whether you have any custom authenticator? Or do you have any time out settings in your proxy? Please bear in mind if you have either or both, it will affect the timeout of the session. In addition to that, please restart your Confluence after any changes.
