User Analytics

Tia Marciel November 8, 2024

Is there a way to set up our Confluence Cloud space analytics so that it focuses on aggregate data only and does not report on individual users?

My mangers wants to avoid team members from feeling as if they're being monitored as it could alter behavior.

Hello @Tia Marciel

With the built-in Confluence Analytics solution, you can only restrict who can view these reports.

If you are open to a 3rd party app, our Viewtracker app is recommended. You can define who is allowed to view the user information in the reports or disable the tracking of user information altogether.

Kind regards,

Mattia

Hi @Tia Marciel ,

As far as I know, there's currently no way to aggregate data in that way. What you can do is export it as CSV and then manipulate data further.

On the other hand, if you have Atlassian Analytics (meaning you have at least one product on Enterprise), that might be achievable. I've only tested Analytics for a bit so can't be sure.

Also, I didn't find any related suggestion on JAC regarding your question, but you might also want to check for yourself. If nothing, you can reach out to Atlassian Support and they can probably create new suggestion based on your request.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tom
