Unable to "add your own emoji" to confluence

I've been able to add custom emojis in the past without any problem but for what ever reason randomly a couple days ago I just was no longer able to. I though maybe I'd give it a day or two to see if it would work later but currently nothing's changed.

Essentially the problem is that, while I can see the add your own emoji button and I can select the image I want to load, the image just doesn't load. It get stuck in this infinite wait loop and never changes.

I know that it's not because the image itself that I'm uploading, because I had actually already made this image a custom emoji in the past.

What can I do?

I am the only administrator and I don't believe I've changed any settings that would affect this.

Hi @Shane Holmes and welcome to Community!

This is a recent known issue: Uploading custom emojis intermittent. Unfortunately, there’s no workaround at the moment. I recommend upvoting the issue to show that you’re impacted, and watching it for updates from Atlassian.
