The analytics in confluence, is it captures the view from external users too?

The analytics in confluence, is it captures the view from external users too?
Because we are trying to share a page for an announcement of our new release and we would love to see how many people are actually checking the page.

The target of this announcement would be external users, who don't possess any access to Atlassian or confluence. Therefore, we might want to know whether it's capturing the external user's view or not.

Thank you for helping,
Regards.

Hello Mohan

Yes, the built-in Analytics does list external users (user not logged in with an authorised Confluence user account) as one "Anonymous" entry and how many page views were generated.

Kind regards

Mattia
