Dear community,

I am just starting to learn how to create useful Templates in order to standardize reporting for my team and now have a couple of questions:

  1. How can I add a variable that is automatically set to the NAME of the USER creating the new page?
  2. How can I add a variable that is automatically set to the current DATE when the page is created?
  3. How to set a page LABEL automatically
  4. How to add a select LIST (drop down box) that can be set to a value for each row it used in? (when I work with variables all fields change o the same value )

I want Something like this:

---------------------------------------

Name: $userName
Date: $currentDate

Monday

  • $projectList - $statusList

----------------------------------------

Thanks for all the suggestions in advance!

Hi Lucas,

Have a look at our Page Tree Creator. You can create templates based on normal confluence pages and use buttons to start the creation process. Page Tree Creator.

We could add a Tag / Variable for the current user and the current date.
