Smartlink URLs in Refined Toolkit Tab Container revert to text URL links when published

I have an issue where smartlink URLs in confluence that are embedded in a Refined Toolkit Tab Container will only show the URL links as "Inline" or "Cards" (intended) while the page is in edit mode. 

Once you publish the page for viewing, all the URL links revert to just text URLs and don't use the smartlink Inline or Card URL display option.

Even officially Atlassian supported smartlink URLs such as YouTube and also non supported smartlink URLs will still display the URLs as text.

I am trying to get all the links to use Inline / Card view (when intended).

It sounds like an issue with how Refined displays the links and not anything to do with you.  Have you submitted a support issue to Refined?  I would suggest doing that first.   https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216056/refined-toolkit-for-confluence-cloud?tab=support&hosting=cloud
