Hi!
I have a set of the documents where most of them are labelled (one or several labels).
Some of these documents were somehow overlooked and do not have any label. My task and a question is how to list all these documents that miss any labels on them.
Do you know if it is possible to do via "Filter by label" macros? I need not only a total number of such documents but a list of them as well.
I can think of three easy solutions.
Pages Manager, a free Confluence app, allows you to display pages in multiple spaces and filter them by label.
You can also bulk edit / add labels to multiple pages at once. As far as I can tell, you cannot filter by NO label. But you'll see which pages have label or not.
Panorama for Confluence, however, CAN filter by NO label but, as far as I know, you can't edit labels in bulk.
Alternativelly, you can use Confluence Databases to display pages's labels and orgranize the DB to show pages without labels. This article might help.
@Olga Bazhanova welcome to the Atlassian community
You can search by space using the API. It is explained in this post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Search-for-pages-without-label/qaq-p/1388701
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
- There are two answers, one can be done but it is a bit cumbersome:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/show-pages-without-label-964981320.html
With CQL and API
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Search-for-pages-without-label/qaq-p/1388701
- and the second answer is no. You can't search for pages with no labels at the moment.
Here is the improvement request so you can upvote it:

Or you ca try a plugin:
Search for any plugin that works with LABELS. test it for 30 days to see if they work for you.

Welcome to the community, @Olga Bazhanova
With Jira, there's an "IS EMPTY" search clause, which doesn't exist in Confluence. You can vote for that feature here.
The "Label" field only supports equality and "IN" operators.
