Hello!
We need to set a read-only permission on a Confluence Space for a specific user, without giving them the permission to share the pages.
This seems not possible in the permission board.
Is there a way to hide the Share button for a user?
Hi @Admin CMS Wingesfar and welcome to the Community.
You can invite them as a guest. Guests do not count towards your user count, they can only access one space, and you can restrict their permission to view only.
If it's just a single page, you can use a public link and share it with the user as a static HTML page.
Having said that... you cannot prevent anyone who sees any type of content from sharing it.
There's nothing stopping a user to copy pasting the content elsewhere.
Indeed in Confluence once you have the right to read a content you can share it.
But it will be shared to people who have the access to this content. So I need maybe more information to understand why it is an issue.
Regards,
