Search does not work at its best!

Sometimes the search does not show a wikipage I would expect. Even when the word is in the title of the wikipage. It shows other wikipages, which do not have the word in the title. That is strange.

Thanks for your post. In addition to what Kai mentioned, the behavior you're seeing with Confluence not showing the expected page could be attributed to a few factors.

Confluence uses Lucene tokenization for its search, and this could be affecting the search results. Search prioritizes results based on different factors. For example, the frequency of the search term in the content or its presence in headings could cause a different page to rank higher. It may also be using stemming or synonym matching, leading to results that include related terms rather than the exact term you searched for. These factors combined can result in the search displaying a different page than anticipated.

having sometimes same pain with search in Atlassianproducts . Specially to confluence this helps me sometimes Confluence search syntax | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support
