Hello,
I recently modified the navigation in our documentation area by moving some pages, but some users noticed that they could no longer find the moved pages when they typed their title in the search bar of the area, as if they were no longer indexed. However, the pages still exist and are clearly visible in the navigation.
How can this bug be corrected?
Thanks in advance for your help!
As Confluence Cloud doesn't allow self-service re-indexing, you have to reach out to Atlassian Support https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ to do that for you.
After you fill in the basic details, you should see the option to start a live chat.
Do just that, describe the issue and ask the agent to rebuild your index. They will ask for permission to access your site.
Speaking from experience with the same issue, it shouldn't last more than a couple of minutes.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for you answer Kristian. There is no way to re-index a specific page without having to contact Atlassian Support and the Confluence administrator in my company for permission access?
Otherwise it means I have to reach out for Atlassian every time we move a page in our documentation area to re-index it, which is quite often...
