My company uses confluence to develop sales proposals to various customers. We create spaces for each customer so we have one location to view all of their standards, master documents, active/current/past projects, meeting notes, etc. We have created a standard proposal template that has the parent/child page structure and a lot of standard info that we copy to start a new proposal. However because Confluence doesn't allow for duplicate naming in the same space we have to prefix all of the pages with the project number and revision number of the proposal. The problem with this is it looks absolutely awful on the export because we have a table of contents filled with dozens of pages formatted like "24####.01 - Responsibility Matrix". I've tried using the "Set Scroll Page Title" on the template to cut the export of the page titles down to "Responsibility Matrix" but for some ungodly reason when we copy it over that doesn't copy with it. Is there any workaround that we can do to help with these page titles on export?
Hi @Jacob Dillingham and welcome.
"Set Scroll Page Title" suggests that you're using K15t's Scroll exporters.
It looks like scroll page titles are page specific and I guess Confluence does not copy Scroll app data.
You can try one of the apps that offer extensive copy functions (such as Copy Page Tree , Space Tools Pro, Page Manager) - they may be able to copy more data than Confluence.
And you can still contact K15t Support, a) they're great, b) there might be a solution for you using Scroll Documents for you wider use-case (use 'scroll documents' for each new proposal).
